It can increase employee motivation in doing work so that they have optimal work output, increase sense of pride of the employees for the institution where they work. The current technical process, assessment and selection of the best employees is carried out in a less systematic and transparent manner. Aspects and criteria used as a reference for assessment are not standardized, the assessment process is not transparent and tends to be subjective. Then a decision support system was built to select the best employees with the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method, which is a method used to find the optimal alternative from several alternatives with certain criteria.
