Abstract
: In this work, we will focus on the relationship between metaphysics and music in Arthur Schopenhauer. Schopenhauer describes music as a direct expression of the will, which cannot be directly represented through models. While art in general represents Platonic Ideas, music transcends this process and is considered a universal language. It expresses the essence of the world and represents the will itself in a precise manner. Music has the ability to evoke emotions and stimulate the imagination, allowing fantasy to give shape to an invisible and animated world. In this context, we will discuss Schopenhauer's views on the nature of music and its significance within his philosophy.
