La Biblioteca Navarra Digital (BiNaDi)

Abstract

RESUMEN La Biblioteca Navarra Digital (BiNaDi) es una iniciativa del Servicio de Bibliotecas del Gobierno de Navarra dirigida a preservar el patrimonio bibliográfico navarro y a facilitar su difusión a través de Internet. Ha estado accesible ininterrumpidamente desde su creación en 2007 y gracias a las posibilidades de consulta online de los documentos digitalizados, se ha minimizado la necesidad de consulta física de las obras favoreciendo así la conservación y preservación del patrimonio bibliográfico de Navarra tanto en soporte tangible como en digital. La existencia e importancia de BiNaDi se refuerza a través de su marco legal y se hace un recorrido por los principales contenidos y cambios a lo largo de los años hasta su migración al software Suite 102 para colecciones digitales. ABSTRACT The Digital Library of Navarre (BiNaDi) is an initiative of the Navarre Government Library Service and is directed at conserving the bibliographic heritage of Navarre and facilitating its dissemination through the Internet. It has been continuously accessible since its creation in 2007 and, thanks to the possibility of consulting the digital documents online, this has minimised the need to physically consult the works, thereby favouring the conservation and preservation of the bibliographic heritage of Navarre, both with regard to the tangible and digital media. The existence and importance of the BiNaDi is strengthened through its legal framework and a review is made of the principal contents and changes over the years up to its migration to the Suite 102 software for digital collections.
