Abstract

This paper gives the performance analysis of one-pass smoke tube marine boiler system with different controllers. Different controllers used for the analysis are PID controller and Fuzzy Logic Control (FLC). A non-linear multi-input/multi-output (MIMO) marine boiler model is used for the work. Performance comparison of the system with PID and fuzzy logic controller is also made. Results show that FLC based control gives better performance inspite of the nonlinearities and disturbances acting on the system.
