Thus, this study introduces a tractable alpha power Teissier distribution (APOT). Some statistical properties of the proposed model like moments, probability generating function, moment generating function and order statistic were examined. The shape of the hazard rate and survival functions were investigated. The shapes of the hazard rate function indicated increasing, decreasing, J-shaped and bathtub shapes. Abstract
