Abstract

The cloud-edge system in the power distribution Internet of Things (PDIoT) is the key technology to support the vision of comprehensively controllable power system. In order to evaluate the performance of the cloud-edge system in the PDIoT, this paper proposes the power distribution service model and information interaction model based on the architecture and service of the cloud-edge system in the PDIoT. Then, three kinds of computing resource configuration strategies are proposed, which includes single cloud configuration strategy, single layer configuration strategy and double layer configuration strategy. Finally, different configuration strategies are compared and analyzed on the simulation platform of EdgeCloudSim. The proposed method provides an effective tool for the analysis of cloud-edge system in the PDIoT.
