Abstract

Leucosapphire monocrystal material is used to build a disc dielectric oscillator, the working modes of which are Planar Whispering Gallery Mode and Quasi-optical Image Whispering Gallery Mode. The oscillator can be used to stabilize the frequency of millimeter wave solid state source and as a power combinator. It is very suitable for millimeter wave integrated circuit, and has more advantage in cryogenic electronics.
