Abstract
The system of collection, transmission and processing data necessary for the organization of competition and training process on ski jumps from a springboard is described. The systems contains the wireless data collection network with judges panels, wireless remote control system of start, wired and fiber optics network data collection from sensors of landing, as well as an automated system for determining the distance of a jump on a springboard. Brief description of the system and its exploitation during the three years is presented. The use of optical fibers as sensor and data transmitter is discussed.
