Pemahaman Konsep Komunikasi Ijbar Pada Masyarakat Nabundong Dalam Pendekatan Wahdatul Ulum

Abstract

This study focuses on the ijbar process that occurs in the Nabundong community of Gunung Tua Julu Village, which is very varied, because in the view of adat there is no compulsion in marriage, the views and desires of wali mujbir to determine their daughter's partner always consider many factors including economic factors, education, social status, customs. customs so that sometimes it seems to be a coercion, but that view is very wrong because in custom it is very considerate of the integrity of the household so that there is no compulsion in carrying out customs. This study uses qualitative research with data collection techniques, namely interviews, observation, and literature studies. Results of research that the implications of ijbar practice without the concept of effective communication for women's lives as objects of ijbar among the Nabundong community, Gunung Tua Julu Village, have an impact. Both women suffer johir and inner because she is not in line with her husband and ends in divorce. The three women did not marry for a long period of time because they were waiting for the choice of the mujbir guardian. The four women have a harmonious household if the matchmaking carried out by the guardian mujbir there is harmony and kufu between her daughter and her future husband.
