Abstract
This study aims to find out how to improve student achievement in accounting. This research is an action research research conducted in a collaborative and participatory manner. The subjects of this study were students majoring in accounting in the second semester who took courses in accounting information system and internal control which consisted of 26 students. This research was conducted for one cycle. The cycle consists of 4 stages, namely action planning, action implementation, observation, and reflection and evaluation. Data collection uses observation, documentation and learning outcomes tests. Data analysis carried out is data reduction, data presentation, and analysis of learning outcomes tests. The results of this study indicate that the Numbered head together learning model can increase the activity and learning achievement of second semester accounting students, especially those who take accounting information systems and internal control courses.
