Abstract

In this paper, a hybrid method based on truncated singular-value decomposition (SVD) method and regularization technique is purposed to calculate the equivalent dipole moment model from near-field scanning. Compared with the conventional least-square method, the hybrid method eliminates the nonphysical dipole moments in electromagnetic modeling procedure and improves the noise issue. An example of one differential pair was modeled in order to validate the hybrid method. The results show that the model calculated by the hybrid method is more accurate and has clear physical meaning.
