The performance analysis is emphasized on how the number of CSRRs incorporation affects to the parameters of filter, namely bandwidth, insertion loss, and return loss. The analysis is applied for the BPF without CSRRs as well as with the number of CSRRs incorporation. The SIW BPF is designed on an FR4 epoxy dielectric substrate with the thickness of 1.6mm and the relative permittivity of 4.3. Meanwhile, each CSRR comprises of 2 concentric rings with the ring width of 2mm and the diameter of 12mm and 7mm for the outer and inner ring, respectively. From the analysis, it shows that the number of CSRRs incorporation into SIW BPF contributes to the number of frequency bands in the passband area.
