Abstract
This research developed a case study to investigate the emotions of participants in creative learning scenarios using the Scratch platform. A deep neural network model was developed to assess participants' emotions from facial expressions. The results show that the feeling of happiness and neutrality were predominant during the construction of the case study. The observation of these feelings allows us to conclude that the proper use of Scratch can contribute to the motivational factor of learning.
