This paper presents the application of Split Ring Resonator (SRR) as DGS on a three way power divider which alters the divider properties to match slow wave structures, thereby achieving reduction in size. Through placement of defects at two optimized locations, in contrast to conventional techniques of loaded lines and repetitive structures, the miniaturized divider attains similar results as the primary divider.
