Abstract

– In this work diode laser stroboscopy has been experimented in four different imaging applications. Each case includes small high speed particles sizes and velocities varying from 10µm to 1mm and 50 to 200m/s, respectively. The measurement equipment consists of a powerful diode laser light source and a high-sensitivity 12-bit digital camera. The results show that diode laser stroboscopy provides powerful means to visualize and measure high speed phenomena.
