In this method, the Nafion film is sandwiched in between the electrodes made by foils of cheaper metal. Then, the IPMC is covered by protecting coating in order to keep the solution in the Nafion membrane from evaporation so as to derive stable operation performance when it works in dry air environment. Abstract
In this paper a fabrication method of ionic polymer-metal composite for deformation sensors is proposed.
