The proposed multilevel inverters own simple structure. Only one switched capacitor and two DC sources are required for single phase configuration. With proper modulation strategy, the proposed inverter is capable of providing 15 levels of the output voltage, which benefits for the improvements of power quality and motor driver's performance. Circuit configuration, operation principle and capacitor voltage ripple are theoretically analyzed in detail. Abstract
