Abstract
FD solutions and the inverse Fourier transform are widely used to solve problems of transient electromagnetics. To increase the efficiency of numerical modeling, the trial pulse response approach (TPRA) can be used. Various modifications of TPRA, which represent a generalization of the Dirac-response, are described.
