The simulation and hardware results of five-phase inverter are presented and this validates the performance of proposed algorithm. Abstract

In this paper a simplified Centre aligned Space Vector Pulse Width Modulation (SVPWM) using voltage dispersion is proposed for a two-level n-phase inverter having odd number of phase. The conventional SVPWM algorithm for calculating the dwell time requires Clarke transformation, sector identification, identification of large and middle vectors in each sector and assigning dwell time to it.
