On the Embryos Obtained from Eggs of Eumeces oshimensis

Abstract

On July 28, 1973, I collected an adult female (s -v length 72 . 2mm) and 7 eggs of a litter of Eumeces oshimensis in a burrow at Mt. Kochi-dake, Amami Island. After 14 days, five of these eggs were fixed in 70% alcohol and then the embryos were taken out for observation.
