Water-Saving Agriculture Based on Financial Support

Abstract

Developing water-saving agriculture is a way to resolve agricultural water crisis, also the fundamental way to maintain the agricultural ecological environment. As about 70% of agricultural water is irrigation water, the improvement of farmland irrigation infrastructure is an important way for water-saving agricultural. While the ecological environment and farmland irrigation infrastructure have public goods attributes, comprehensive measures should be taken for public finances to support agricultural irrigation infrastructure so as to promote water-saving agriculture development.
