Abstract

Improvements to the mathematical-physical model of discrete sound field of multi-propeller aircraft have been made by using aeroacoustic analogy method, which considers the effects of fuselage boundary as well as the interference process of the multiple propeller sound field. The calculated results illustrate the effects of fuselage on the propeller sound field, the 'beating noise' phenomenon and the principle of noise control of synchrophaser system.
