The performance of PIC is unsatisfied because error propagation is strongly related to the accuracy of interference from the estimate of other layers. Aiming at limiting error propagation, the proposed algorithm detects the layers in the order of ascending SNR and uses the improved estimate of the prior detected layers to replace the rough estimate from zero-forcing (ZF) to perform interference cancellation of the posterior detected layers. Abstract
This paper proposed a detection algorithm based on parallel interference cancellation (PIC) detection for the V-BLAST system.
