Influence of elastic strain on the possibility of excitation of discrete breathers in the nanofiber crystal with A3B stoichiometry

Abstract

A molecular dynamics investigation of the influence of strain on the existence of moving discrete breathers with hard type nonlinearity in the nanofiber crystal with A3B stoichiometry is performed. It is found that a small strain can affects the characteristics of the mobile discrete breather together with its excitement possibility. The article presents in some strains possible rebirth of a breather in the mobile discrete stationary.
