Voltage Stability Improvement in Ring Main Underground Distribution Network

Abstract

Currently power demand keeps on increasing. With increase in power demand, Voltage Stability problem in distribution system also increases. To get stable and secure system, Voltage Stability is very important and challenging issue. This paper presents about improving Voltage Stability in distribution network by using Ring Main System and provide uninterrupted power supply to the consumer which is not possible in Radial System. Presently Underground cables are use to transmit power.
