The thematic features of the area consisting of forest, crop land, industry, built-up land, road and waste land. Many change detection techniques were used. Abstract

This paper aims to find out the land use/land cover change detection between the year 1990 and 2010 and also the factors for deforestation in Erode District, TamilNadu, India.
