Besides, they can be displayed on the screen with readable format and have the ability to test the force in omnidirectional direction. Abstract
An instrument to measure the force and displacement for biomechanical measurement of soft tissues is introduced. It consists of a motor, a load cell, a differential variable reluctance transducer (DVRT) and a signal processing module. The force and displacement can be obtained simultaneously and directly from voltage signal collection without manually zero adjustment. Besides, they can be displayed on the screen with readable format and have the ability to test the force in omnidirectional direction. Experiment have been performed to test the accuracy and flexibility of the instrument.
