Abstract
Most of the adaptive learning systems adopt the classical learning style theory, without considering the characteristics of online learning. Based on learning theories, the study analyses psychological activities in e-learning and the requirements of knowledge characteristics for students' learning activities, systematically determine learning style's elements of e-learning and design a new learning style model in an adaptive learning system.
