Based on the equivalent single input single output (SISO) model, we first present the probability density function (PDF) of the instantaneous single to noise ratio (SNR) per symbol, and then derive a close-form expression for the outage probability of OSTBCs. We also evaluate the symbol error rate (SER) for MPSK and MQAM modulations in terms of moment generating function (MGF) of instantaneous SNR which is expressed in closed-form. Abstract
