Abstract

This paper addresses the design of the Data Acquisition System, Battery Management System and the different safety circuits present in a Formula Student Electric Vehicle. The car was designed around the rules and regulations of the Formula Bharat 2019 Competition while keeping efficiency and cost in mind. The data acquisition system was designed to utilize the sensor network in the car, in real-time, based on a master-slave topology.
