It will affect the improvement of learning ability for students seriously, or cannot cultivate young talents to adapt to the development of science and technology in the decades. It is a way worthwhile to integrate scientific research into teaching to carry out teaching reform. In the course of high voltage technology teaching, the research of GIS substation is integrated in order to improve the learning interest. The research of GIS substation is taken as an example to present the process of introducing the content of scientific research in teaching, spreading the idea of scientific research, stimulating students to carry out independent learning, perfecting and updating the structure of knowledge system on the basis of knowledge accumulation, leading students to apply what they have learned, and achieving the role of improving the teaching effect.
