Abstract
Foreign exchange reserves have many indicators that affect their income, one of which is the tourism sector. Tourism activities create demand, both consumption and investment, which can increase the income of foreign exchange reserves in Indonesia. This study aims to determine the effect of foreign tourist visits, exchange rates, and investment on tourism foreign exchange earnings as well. This study uses multiple linear regression analysis model using the OLS method. The test results state that there is a significant effect between the number of foreign tourists on tourism foreign exchange, there is a significant influence between the exchange rate on tourism foreign exchange, and there is a significant influence between Domestic Investment (PMDN) in the hotel and restaurant sector on tourism foreign exchange. The number of foreign tourists who come to Indonesia is one of the boosters for the acquisition of foreign exchange reserves in the tourism sector. There is a role between the exchange rate and tourism foreign exchange because the exchange rate is one of the components behind foreign exchange reserves.
