Abstract
The article deals with the study of the compensatory properties of unified power quality conditioner in the complex voltage distortion case by external consumers on a voltage-restorer transformer. Unified power quality conditioner is constructed the topological scheme including series and shunt components. The analysis of known methods a voltage and current compensation determination is carried out. It is determined that the power theory in the structure of the unified power quality conditioner scheme can be rationally applied to a parallel filter-compensating device, and for series it is enough to use filtration methods. In the visual programming environment an electrotechnic complex model developed. Experiments to effectiveness determine of proposed design a unified power quality conditioner have been delivered. In the obtained data analysis, a decrease in voltage and current distortion was noted, but short-term voltage and current pulses remained because the series-connected transformer has a significant windings inductance, which degrades the overall quality indicators.
