Abstract

In the big data era, files stored at cloud are usually supplemented, such as health record managing systems. Access policies on different sections of a file have similarities as well as differences. Hence, an efficient approach to constructing hierarchical access structures for different sections of a file not only achieves flexible fine-grained access control but also provides well-preserved confidentiality of data based on the preferences of each data producers. In this paper, we introduce an idea on the provenance-based access control policy along with its applicable cloud system. Then we propose the provenance-based hierarchical encryption to implement it.
