Abstract

In this paper, a family of bidirectional boost/buck converter is presented, in which three new topologies are proposed. The converters of this family have a low number of components, simplicity of operation. To demonstrate which topologies are more attractive, a comparison of these converters is made, in such aspect: voltage gain, current and voltage stress on the semiconductors. To validate the theoretical evaluations, simulation results are presented.
