Abstract

Primary lymphedema of the limbs refers to primary lymphatic dysplasia, and can be associated with other syndromes, including hereditary. To date, several genes have been studied and found that are directly related to congenital dysplasia of the lymphatic system and play a significant role in lymphangiogenesis.
