Characterization parameters, tested between -40degC and +115degC, were transmitter average optical output power, extinction ratio, peak to peak optical power, jitter, eye diagrams and receiver sensitivity. Environmental testing consisted of vibration, mechanical shock, temperature cycling, cold storage, and 85/85 humidity/temperature testing.
