Abstract

Adaptive bitrate selection is a widely used technique to provide the highest experience for users watching existing videos stored on some servers. In the paper, we apply such a technique to increase the quality of real-time video streams generated by CCTV (Closed Circuit TeleVision) cameras and transmitted to operators and servers over existing public wireless networks.
