Development of a 22 GHz correlating radiometer for the observation of stratospheric water vapor

Abstract

We present the overall design, first ideas for the calibration concept and first measurements of a new campaign radiometer for the observation of stratospheric water vapor. The specialities of this instrument are its compact optical system and its correlation receiver with a high resolution digital spectrometer.
