Abstract

The proposed algorithm iteratively combining isolated homogeneous regions based on the search for the minimum distance between the centers of these regions. The algorithm is works to combine isolated regions in bigger region and still combines regions until match the ending conditions of the algorithm, reached the maximum number of loops or a segment region and the minimum distance between the segments, or the number of segments. It has been established that the image size from 10000 to 250000 pixels searches the minimum distance between the segments based on the gradual increase in the search radius it provides a win in the performance of the segmentation algorithm.
