Abstract

In this paper, the projected parallel spectrum sensing technique decreases sensing failure problem as well as improves reliability. The offered scheme takes two detectors, both works together. One detector is conventional energy detector considering single adaptive threshold known as ED-SAT, and another takes two adaptive thresholds called ED-TAT. The simulation results, in terms of detection probability, confirm that the projected parallel sensing scheme beats current sensing schemes and requires minor observation time.
