Abstract

The mathematic model of wave behavior within photonic crystal with anisotropic metamaterial layers based on 2×2 translation matrix is presented for the first time. The numerical calculations and result comparison with well-known 4×4 matrix methods are given also. It is proved also that the layer change theorem is valid for an anisotropic photonic crystal.
