High- and low-speed disturbance records can be used for the verification of the models used for dynamic stability studies. Abstract

The integration of multifunctional IEDs with protection, control, monitoring and recording functions in UCA 2.0 or IEC 61850 based substation automation systems results in the implementation of distributed systems for monitoring and recording in substations or power plants.
