Abstract
This paper presents the design of new controller and modeling for a single phase inverter that must operate in island mode or disconnected from the grid within a microgrid. The inverter model is presented in small signal and the current loop controller and the comparative between two controllers for the voltage loop are designed. Considering that in this mode of operation the aim is to maintain the waveform, amplitude and frequency of the voltage signal that will be delivered to the load. For this application is distinguishes the design of a new control configuration based on the inclusion of a Posicast control within a configuration of proportional-integral proportional control (PI-P); with the aim of improving the transient response of the inverter and presents a better disturbance rejection.
