Since the improper selection of processing parameters leads to poor quality and quantity, in the present work, an attempt was made to simulate hot direct extrusion of AA6061 alloy using DEFORM-3D, and the results were analysed using a hybrid multi-criteria decision making technique, a combined fuzzy AHP and TOPSIS approach to select the optimal combination of hot extrusion processing parameters.
