Since Bangladesh is a Muslim majority country, it is possible to establish the rights of domestic workers if people can be encouraged by promoting Islamic guidelines. Islam is a comprehensive way of life and it lays down effective principles regarding the rights of domestic workers. The purpose of this article is to explore the existing working conditions and rights of women domestic workers in Bangladesh and elucidate the Islamic guidelines in this context. It examines the issue using content analysis following the descriptive-analytical method. This research has revealed that women domestic workers are not receiving their due status as workers in Bangladesh. Establishing a robust legislative framework based on Islamic guidelines will ensure the desired outcome in this scenario.
