A prolog simulation for a Delphi-based problem solver

Abstract

Expert systems model human beings in problem solving. This paper presents an approach for building distributed expert systems, modelled after human group decision making. The Delphi technique for group decision making has been used to present two alternative approaches. A solution integration approach and a model integration approach are discussed. A Prolog simulation of the Delphi problem solver demonstrates these concepts.
