The Making of Workpieces Using Autocad Software based Siemens Sinumerik 802C Base Line Frais Machine

Abstract

The purpose of the study is to: (a) Make the engine component design drawings using AutoCAD software, (b) Transfer of image data from AutoCAD to Mastercam X software, (c) Execute program from Mastercam X data into Siemens Sinumerik 802C Base Line CNC 90(Computer Numeric Control) Frais machine. The method used is based on experiment by making the design drawings in AutoCAD software and then transferred into language program of the Siemens Sinumerik 802C Base Line CNC Frais machine through madiator software, Mastercam X. The results showed that the Mastercam X software can display N Code / G Code derived from 2D AutoCAD drawings.
