Abstract
This study aims to report the impact of a set of activities called “Neuroblitzes” taken in order to disseminate and popularize the neuroscience in school environment. The activities took place monthly in public schools in the city of Uruguaiana/RS, Brazil during the year 2014, having as teaching methodology a brief theoretical explanation followed by a practical activity on topics related to neuroscience. In general way, the activities were well received by the students, being classified as good and very good, totaling an average final score giving by students of 8.2, considering a scale of 0 to 10. The teachers of the students also emphasized the benefits of playful and interactive learning activities in brain function. We believe that the activities fulfilled its objectives of bringing the school to the university, arousing the curiosity of students and popularizing the neuroscience
