Abstract

The purpose to this work to provide mathematical approach to developed MATLAB code for 8-node quadrilateral element for finite element analysis of 2-D structure to improve accuracy in results. In present investigation 8-node quadrilateral element MATLAB code is proposed for structural analysis of 2-D Isotropic elastic structures.
